KING COLLISION CENTER

History

Doug Fenstermaker, owner of King Collision, opened his first location at 2000 North River Road in Warren, Ohio in 1987 with one purpose in mind, to provide the finest collision repair shop in Trumbull County.  Fenstermaker noticed that the city of Warren and surrounding communities needed a collision repair facility that put the customer first!  "I have always been a big believer that if you treat the customer the way you want to be treated, fair and honest, you made a customer for life," Fenstermaker said.  That statement, as well as the hiring of body shop manager Gene Ghindia, has been proven true in our performance.  King's has grown in size to 31,000 sq. ft. and with the latest in body shop technology to better serve the customer, our Warren location will be there to answer any questions you may have.

With the success of the Warren shop, insurance companies approached Fenstermaker about the possibility of adding a second location in Mahoning County, especially in the Boardman area.  "With the increase in traffic throughout Rt. 224 and Market Street, we knew not only did we need to build a body shop, but, one that could handle the amount of accidents that were occurring in that area," Fenstermaker said.  After years of site planning and construction, King Collision opened its second location in 2004 at 8020 Market Street.  Our Boardman location is one of the largest body shops in Ohio with 41,000 sq. ft. of collision repair, frame and paint technology available anywhere in the United States.  "We are equipped to repair twenty vehicles in an eight hour day," Fenstermaker mentioned.  "This location can repair an average of 400 vehicles per month," added Mike Sicilian, Boardman's body shop manager.  He continued with saying "We can have a customer's car repaired quickly while still providing superior customer service."

Since the opening of Boardman, King Collision has added two more locations.  Our Hubbard location opened in 2007 and a second location opened in Boardman on Southern Blvd in 2014.  King's employs over 50 men and women throughout Northeast Ohio and will look to continue to grow in the future. King Collision-"We're there when you need us, because you never know who you're going to run into."
